Salam! I'm so excited to be here in the South with my besties! I'm from the Amazon, but my family is originally from the Sinai Desert. There was a little mix up with my papers, I found myself en route to a zoo in TORONTO!! I couldn't stand that white sand-it was so cold! I hitched a ride with some nice Mississippians, and took the chance to visit my great friends, Namra, Alanda and Eman. Can't wait to share my journey with, as the locals say, y'all! :)

Salam Y’all! My name is Alanda and I’m a true Southern belle at heart. Born and raised in the South, I converted to Islam almost two years ago. A Bachelor’s of Liberal Arts graduate, I love history, researching beauty products, and finding amazing hijab companies.
